Today on SheebasCookeryWorld, lets see how to make Grilled Chicken. I have tried to give it an Indian flavour by using ingredients like kasuri methi, coriander leaves paste, green chilli paste, red chiili powder etc. Serve this along with some fresh vegetable salad. This dish is tasty and healthy as well.
Ingredients:
Chicken Breast - 2 slices
Chopped Garlic - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves, Green Chilli paste - 2 tbsp
Kasuri Methi - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Crushed Black Pepper - 1 tbsp
Preparation:
Take the chicken breast piece and cut it into 2 thin slices.
To prepare the marinate, take a bowl. Add lemon juice, chopped garlic, crushed black pepper, coriander leaves green chilli paste, oil, salt, red chilli powder and kasuri methi. Mix it really well.
Coat each of the chicken slices with this mixture and refrigerate it for almost an hour.
Heat a grill pan. Place the chicken slices in the pan when the pan becomes hot. Reduce the flame to a medium and cook the chicken until it is done on one side.
After about 5 minutes, flip over and cook from the other side as well for 5 more minutes.
Remove the chicken slices on to a kitchen towel so that the excess oil gets absorbed.
To prepare the vegetable salad, slice up some carrot, red cabbage, cucumber, broccoli. Saute the broccoli on a medium flame for couple of minutes. You can add some oil while sauteing.
Combine all the veggies in a bowl, add lemon juice, salt, black pepper powder and some white vinegar. Mix everything really well.
The Grilled Chicken along with Fresh Vegetable Salad is ready to be served!!!!
