Neer Dosa


Ingredients
  • Raw Rice – 1 cup
  • Tender coconut (pulp) – 1 cup
  • Water – as required to get a pouring consistency
  • Salt – to taste


Preparation:
  • Soak the rice overnight.
  • In a mixer, combine the soaked rice, tender coconut and water and grind well. The water should be slightly more when compared to the normal dosa batter, to get the pouring consistency.
  • Once done, add salt and mix well.
  • Set aside the batter for 20 minutes.
  • Heat a tawa. Once it is hot, take a spoonful of the batter and pour evenly across the tawa so that bubbles are formed all over.
  • Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 mins. You can cover with a lid so that the top also gets cooked.
  • Remove from the tava. Repeat the same steps to make more neer dosas.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney.
