Ingredients:
- Chopped onion - 1 cup
- Chopped tomatoes- 1 cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and wait until it splutters.
- Add the chopped onion, salt and cook until it becomes soft and changes colour.
- Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, mix well.
- Add some water and cover and cook until the tomatoes become soft and cooked.
- Add extra water if required.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatti.
