Ingredients:
- Maida - 1 cup
- Roasted Semolina - 1/2 cup
- Chana dal - 1/2 cup
- Jaggery - 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
Preparation:
- Soak chana dal overnight.
- Pressure cook chana dal along with salt and water in a cooker until well cooked.
- Make a soft dough out of maida, roasted semolina, little salt, ghee and water. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
- In a pan, add the cooked chana dal, grated jaggery, cardamom powder and make into a thick paste. This forms the stuffing.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and make small rotis out of it.
- Take small portions of the stuffing, keep the same inside the roti and roll it once again.
- Now spread them into small rotis.
- Heat a pan.
- Cook the rotis one by one. Add ghee as required.
- Serve hot.
