Ingredients:
- Raw rice - 1 cup
- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves
- Black sesame seeds - 1tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Preparation:
- Soak the rice in water for 5 to 6 hours.
- Drain the water and dry the rice by spreading it on a cloth for some time.
- Once it is semi dry, powder the rice in a mixer.
- Take a bowl. Add the powdered rice into it. Add the grated coconut as well.
- Now mix them together with your hands thoroughly such that the milk in the coconut gets coated with the rice flour.
- Now heat a pan. Add the rice flour and coconut mixture into it and fry nicely, until a nice aroma comes out and the mixture turns slightly brown.
- Heat some ghee in a pan. Fry some curry leaves and sesame seeds.
- Once done, add the sesame seeds and curry leaves to the rice flour mixture.
- Now add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
