Potato Roll Samosa Recipe | How to make Potato Roll Samosa


In today's video on SheebasCookeryWorld, i will show you how to make Potato Roll Samosa. Potato Roll Samosa is a crispy and tasty aloo samosa recipe with a twist. This potato roll samosa recipe is an excellent tea time snack and you can serve them with either tomato ketchup or mint chutney.

Ingredients All Purpose Flour - 1 cup Salt - 1/2 tsp Ajwain - 1/2 tsp Oil - 1 tbsp Water - 1/3 cup Boiled Potatoes - 3 medium Grated Ginger - 1 tsp Chopped Green Chillies - 2 Chilli Flakes - 1 tbsp Chaat Masala - 3/4 to 1 tsp Amchur Powder - 1/2 tsp Corn Flour - 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp Oil - for frying Maida Paste - to seal the roll samosas Preparation To make the samosa dough, combine together flour, salt, ajwain, oil. Pour water gradually and make a thick dough. Rest it for 30 minutes. To prepare the potato stuffing, grate boiled potatoes. Cook the potatoes along with some turmeric powder and salt. To the grated potato, add grated ginger, chopped green chilli, chilli flakes, chaat masala, amchur powder, corn flour and chopped coriander leaves. Knead well. Grease your hands. Take small portions of the mixture and roll into cylindrical shape. To prepare the roll samosa, roll out the dough as thin as possible. Cut out long strips. Now place the potato stuffing at one end of the strip and roll until you reach the other end. Secure the edges with the maida paste. To fry the potato roll samosas, heat oil in a pan. Once the oil turns hot, drop in the samosas one by one. Set flame between medium and high and fry until they turn crisp and golden brown. Remove onto a kitchen towel to get rid of excess oil. Crispy and tasty Potato Roll Samosas are ready to be served. Serve them hot along with some tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
