Simple Chicken Fry Video Recipe | Chicken Starter Recipes


Today's recipe is a simple chicken fry recipe that i usually prepare at home. It is very easy to make this and you can serve this either as a starter or as a side dish along with rice or roti.

Ingredients

Chicken pieces - 250 gm
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp or to taste
Black Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Fennel Powder - 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1.5 tsp
Kasuri Methi/Dry Fenugreek leaves - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Oil - for frying
Curry Leaves - For Garnish


Preparation

Prepare a marinate by combining all the above ingredients except for oil and curry leaves.
Add chicken pieces into it and coat them well.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes until the chicken absorbs the masala.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the chicken pieces and fry on a medium flame until all the sides are done and the chicken gets cooked.
Add some curry leaves and fry for a minute or two.
Once done, remove onto a kitchen towel to remove the excess oil.
Serve along with some lemon wedges and Onion slices. You can garnish the chicken with the fried curry leaves.
Simple Chicken Fry is ready to be served. You can server this as a starter or as a side dish along with rice or roti.
