Red Velvet Lava Cake


Today i will be showing how to make a Red Velvet Lava Cake.

Ingredients
Unsalted Butter - 125gm
White Chocolate - 125gm
Eggs - 3 (at room temperature)
Sugar - 100gm
Red Food Colour - 1 tsp
Cocoa Powder - 15gm
All purpose flour - 50gm


Preparation:
Melt White Chocolate and Butter in a double boiler until completely dissolved. Allow to cool down completely.
Take a large bowl. Add eggs and whisk until pale and fluffy.
Add sugar gradually and continue whisking until all the sugar is incorporated.
Add red food colour.
Add the melted chocolate and butter to this and whisk until it is all well incorporated.
Seive together all purpose flour, cocoa powder and ground cinnamon and add to the wet mix.
Add to the wet mixture and fold in gently until well incorporated.
Pour the batter into greased bowls.
Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, rest for about 5 minutes and unmould it immediately.
Use a butter knife and carefully run along the edges to unmould it.
Serve along with a scoop of icecream!!!
