Ingredients
- Thick poha - 1 cup
- Chopped onion - 1 nos.
- Slit green chillies - 3 to 4
- Peanuts - 10 nos.
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Curry Leaves - 10 nos.
- Chopped Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
- Water - to soak the poha
- Dry red chillies - 3 to 4
- Hing - 1/4 tsp
- Split urad dal - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Soak the poha in water for 3 to 4 minutes. Strain out the water and transfer to a different bowl. Squeeze out any excess water.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds, dry red chilli, urad dal, hing, peanuts, curry leaves, turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add green chillies, sliced onion, salt and saute well.
- Add the poha and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Finally add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
