Kovakkya Fry


Ingredients:

  1. Chopped Kovakkya - 1 cup
  2. Sliced Onion - 1 no.
  3. Slit Green Chillies - 3 to 4
  4. Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
  5. Water - 1/2 cup
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Turmeric Powder - 3/4 tsp
  8. Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Preparation:
  1. Transfer ingredients from 1 to 3 to a pan, add salt and water. Cover and cook until it becomes slightly soft.
  2. Now add coconut oil and fry on a medium flame for 15 mins or until it turns crisp. Keep stirring occasionally.
  3. Add turmeric powder and chilli powder and mix well.
  4. Server hot with rice or roti.
