Cheera Thoran



Ingredients:

  1. Chopped Cheera - 1 cup
  2. Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  3. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Jeera Powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. Crushed Garlic Cloves - 2 nos.
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Oil - 2 tbsp
  9. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
  1. Add ingredients from 2 to 7 in a mixer grinder and grind to a coarse mix.
  2. Heat oil in a kadhai. Add mustard seeds and wait until it splutters.
  3. Add the coconut mix. Add chopped cheera and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle little water and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  5. once done, remove from flame.
