Ingredients
1. Brocolli Florets – 1 cup
2. Jeera – 1 tsp
3. Asafetida – ½ tsp
4. Finely Chopped Garlic – 6 to 8
5. Finely chopped green chilli – 3 to 4
6. Oil – 3 tbsp
7. Besan – 2 tbsp
8. Turmeric – ¼ tsp
9. Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
10. Coriander Powder – ½ tsp
11. Garam Masala – ½ tsp
12. Amchur powder – 1 tsp
13. Lemon – ½ slice
14. Salt – to taste
15. Water – 2 tbsp
Preparation:
1. Wash the broccoli and cut into small florets. Wipe off the excess water with a tissue.
2. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds, asafetida, chopped garlic and green chillies. Stir for around 30 seconds.
3. Now add the broccoli florets, mix well and cover and cook on a low flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Meanwhile in a bowl, mix besan, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam
masala, amchur powder and mix well. Add 1 tbsp of oil and mix well.
5. Add some salt for seasoning to the broccoli and again cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Now sprinkle the besan mixture little by little so that all the broccoli florets get evenly coated.
7. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
8. Sprinkle very little water on the florets, so that the besan mixture gets coated to the florets.
9. At this stage turn off the flame and transfer the broccoli to a serving plate.
10. Sprinkle some lemon juice all over to get that tangy taste!!
