Ingredients:
Medium sized ripe banana cut into small pieces - 2 nos
Green chilli - 2/3 nos
Grated coconut -1 cup
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 2/3 small cloves
Curd - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Water 1 cup
For Garnish:
Oil - 2 tbsp
Shallots - 2 nos
Curry leaves - 2 leaves
Dry red chillies - 2 nos
Mustard - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Boil banana with turmeric, salt, green chilli and 1 cup water.
When its cooked, add coconut paste, ground along with garlic, jeera and 1/2 cup water)
When it just begins to boil, add curd and switch of the flame.
In a pan, add oil and when it becomes hot, add sliced shallots, mustard, curry leaves and dry red chilli.
Add the seasoning to the dish, mix and serve.
