Malabar Mutton Kurma



Ingredients:
  • Onion - 4 big
  • Tomato - 2 to 3 big
  • Green Chilli - 4 to 5
  • Ginger - 1 inch stick
  • Garlic - 7 to 8 cloves
  • Curry Leaves - 2 sticks
  • Mutton Stalk (mutton cooked with salt and turmeric)
  • Mutton (cooked) - 1kg
  • Chilli powder - 1 &1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
  • Cashew Paste - 1/2 cup
  • Coconut milk - 3/4 cup
For Ganishing:
  • Coconut Oil
  • Mustard
  • Onion
  • Curry leaves
  • Garlic
Preparation:
  • Heat oil.
  • Add cut onions and fry. Add salt.
  • Add cut tomatoes and cook well.
  • Add slit green chillies, add garlic paste and then ginger paste and fry.
  • Add curry leaves.
  • Add the mutton stalk and cook well.
  • Add the cooked mutton.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
  • Add cashewnut paste.
  • Add coconut milk and mix well.
  • Add the garnish at the end and serve.
