Ingredients
- Raw Rice – 1 cup
- Tender coconut (pulp) – 1 cup
- Water – as required to get a pouring consistency
- Salt – to taste
Preparation:
- Soak the rice overnight.
- In a mixer, combine the soaked rice, tender coconut and water and grind well. The water should be slightly more when compared to the normal dosa batter, to get the pouring consistency.
- Once done, add salt and mix well.
- Set aside the batter for 20 minutes.
- Heat a tawa. Once it is hot, take a spoonful of the batter and pour evenly across the tawa so that bubbles are formed all over.
- Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 mins. You can cover with a lid so that the top also gets cooked.
- Remove from the tava. Repeat the same steps to make more neer dosas.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
