Ingredients:
Ghee - 2.5 tbsp
Cashew/Raisins - 2 tbsp
Rava - 3/4 cup
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 cup
Preparation:
Heat Ghee in a pan.
Add Cashews and Raisins and fry until cashews turn golden brown and raisins puff up. Remove from ghee and set aside.
Add rava to the remaining ghee and roast on a low flame.
Once rava turns slightly brown and nice aroma comes out, add grated coconut to this.
Fry for couple of more minutes, set aside and cool down completely.
Take another pan. Add sugar and water to this and heat on a medium flame by stiring continously. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves and you get one string consistency.
Add roasted rava to this sugar syrup, add fried cashews and raisins.
Mix well until there are no lumps and allow the mixture to cool down slightly.
While the mixture is slightly warm, start making ladoos out of it. Apply some ghee on your palms so that the mixture does not stick to your hands.
Once the ladoos have almost colled down, shape them well if required.
Finally garnish with cashews and raisins.
Delicious Rava Ladoos are ready!!!
