Today i will
be showing you a Brownie Recipe. It is a cheesecake brownie with a red base and
a creamcheese layer on top. These red velvet brownies are so very easy to make
and equally tastes good.
Ingredients
Red Brownie
Base
- Unsalted Melted Butter – ½ cup
- Powdered Sugar – ¾ cup
- Cocoa Powder – ¼ cup
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
- Red Food Colouring – ¾ tsp
- Eggs – 2 (at room temperature)
- All purpose flour – ¾ cup
Cheesecake
Layer
- Creamcheese – 200gm
- Powdered sugar – ¼ cup
- Vanilla Extract – ¼ tsp
- Egg – 1 (at room temperature)
- Combine melted butter and powdered sugar. Mix well.
- Add cocoa powder and mix it.
- Add salt, vanilla extract, red food colour to this.
- Add eggs one at a time and blend well.
- Add in the flour gradually and mix well.
- Take 2 to 3 tbsp of this red batter and keep aside
- Pour the remaining batter into a greased tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread it evenly and set aside.
- Take another bowl. Add creamcheese to it.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract and combine.
- Add egg and mix well.
- Spread this creamcheese layer on top of the red layer.
- Take small portions of the red batter and put on top of the creamcheese layer as you see here.
- Now make the swirl pattern with the help of a knife.
- The brownie is ready to be baked now
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove and allow to cool down completely.
- Remove from the tray and cut the brownies into any desired shape of your choice, with the help of a cookie cutter!!
