Ingredients:
- Sliced Onion - 2 big nos.
- Chopped Ginger - 1/2 tsp
- Chopped green chillies - 3 nos.
- Chopped curry leaves - 2 tsp
- Red Chilli powder- 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp (optional)
- Besan - 1/2 cup
- Maida - 1/2 cup
- Oil - for frying
Preparation:
- Add the ingredients from 1 to 7 to a bowl and mix well.
- Squeeze them well so that the onion becomes soft.
- Now add besan and mix well.
- Add maida and mix well.
- Add some water if required to make a thick batter.
- Set aside the batter for 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan. When oil turns hot, make small patties of the mixture prepared and drop it into the oil.
- Fry on a medium flame on both sides until they turn golden brown.
- Serve hot as an evening snack with tea.
