Poori


Ingredients

  1. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  2. Salt - to taste
  3. Sugar - 1 tsp
  4. Oil - for frying
  5. Water - 3/4 cup
Preparation:
  1. Transfer the wheat flour to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add salt, sugar and 2 tsp oil to it and mix well. we can also add some milk to make the pooris soft.
  3. Now add water little by little and knead the dough until it becomes soft. It should be little hard when compared to the chapatti dough.
  4. Rest to dough for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into small portions and make small poories out of it.
  6. Heat oil in a kadhai.
  7. When the oil becomes hot, fry the poories one by one on both the sides until done.
  8. Serve hot with Chole or Potato curry.
