Ingredients
- Wheat flour - 1 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Oil - for frying
- Water - 3/4 cup
Preparation:
- Transfer the wheat flour to a mixing bowl.
- Add salt, sugar and 2 tsp oil to it and mix well. we can also add some milk to make the pooris soft.
- Now add water little by little and knead the dough until it becomes soft. It should be little hard when compared to the chapatti dough.
- Rest to dough for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small portions and make small poories out of it.
- Heat oil in a kadhai.
- When the oil becomes hot, fry the poories one by one on both the sides until done.
- Serve hot with Chole or Potato curry.
