Curd Rice


Ingredients:

  1. Cooked rice - 1 cup
  2. Curd - 1 cup
  3. Salt - to taste
  4. Oil - 2 tbsp
  5. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  6. Dry red chillies - 3 to 4
  7. Curry leaves - 10
  8. Chopped green chillies- 2 to 3
  9. Chopped coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Preparation:
  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add the mustard seeds and wait until it splutters.
  3. Add the dry red chillies and fry until it slightly changes colour.
  4. Add the curry leaves, green chillies and then the coriander leaves and fry for a minute.
  5. Now add the cooked rice and salt and mix well.
  6. Remove from flame and keep aside so that it cools down.
  7. Now add the curd and mix well. If the curd is thick, you can add some water to adjust the consistency.
  8. Serve with pickle.
