Ingredients:
- Fish Egg (of any fish) - 1/2 cup
- Sliced Onion - 1 medium sized
- Chopped Green Chillies - 3 nos.
- Curry leaves - 2 sticks
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Fennel seeds powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
Preparation:
- Clean and wash the fish egg. Sardine fish egg has been used in this recipe.
- Add the ingredients 2 to 8 to this and mash well, until the eggs are also mashed well.
- Heat a pan and add oil to it.
- Add some mustard seeds and wait for it to splutter. Add curry leaves as well.
- Now add the fish egg mixture to it and mix well.
- Add little water and cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame.
- Once done, remove the lid and fry it until done (just like normal egg burji).
- Remove from flame and serve with rice.
